Whether you specialise in mural artwork, illustrations, or mixed media, Montana gives you the versatility and precision that will bring your artwork to life.

Why Artists Choose Montana GOLD

Montana GOLD is renowned for its refined touch, low-pressure artist spray technology, as well as its smooth output. It is widely regarded as the standard tool for mural artists and designers who appreciate precision, harmony, and colour integrity.

Among the many reasons behind its popularity is the low-pressure system. Montana GOLD gives artists a gentle, controlled paint flow so that they can apply paint to their artwork with precision. In fact, this feature is the most essential thing that artists would want if they want precision in their artwork, especially if they’re working on designs that call for precision down to every millimetre. Artists who use Montana’s different paint cans will surely say that the difference is immediate, as Montana GOLD gives them softer control.

Another thing that sets this paint apart is its water-resistant formula. Each can is designed with your artwork in mind, protecting your artwork from the harmful effects of sunlight. Once this paint is dry, your artwork will retain its colour, which is essential in many installations, such as outdoor murals.

Of equal importance, however, is the quick-drying finish. With the quick-drying properties of this paint, artists can achieve more complexity in their artwork much faster, as they do not have to wait for extensive periods of time between applications. With its high coverage properties, Montana GOLD enables artists to attain a smooth finish on any material, such as concrete, canvas, wood, or metal. Just as with other Montana ranges, this ideal combination of precision, durability and speed explains the popularity of Montana GOLD with graffiti artists, illustrators, and designers.

Montana GOLD is renowned for its vast colour range. Whether you seek neutral shades, bold and bright colours, metallic, or neon highlights, there is a colour spectrum that can realise any design ambition.

Among the metallic paints, the Montana Metallic line offers a set of rich, shiny colours that give a nice metallic appearance. Such colours are perfect for lettering, highlights, or any artwork that requires the addition of texture, shine, or depth. Having a smooth finish, such paint gives a nice, striking appearance to any artwork.

Artists wanting intense colours will truly appreciate the intensity that the fluorescent series provides. Indeed, if artists use such colours effectively, they will be able to achieve an energy that other colours may not be able to provide. Of course, this will still depend on their skill.

However, the basic Montana GOLD range always remains the central focus of the collection. With a selection of carefully designed colours, artists can easily use them with a lot of accuracy. Each colour is designed in such a way that any can of Montana’s spray paint will perfectly blend with every other one. You may be wondering which colour would be most suitable for your project, as this may pose some difficulties. However, you can always see all the colours or check the group of colours in case you’re not sure of the right one.

At Suspect Package, we hold a vast range of every Montana GOLD colour family, so artists in the UK always have immediate access to the best quality as soon as inspiration hits.

Montana GOLD vs. Montana BLACK: Which Can Is Right for You?

Montana Gold and Montana Black are both well-regarded brands within the spray paint world, but they are used for different purposes. By being aware of the differences, you will be able to choose the right spray paint cans that suit your art requirements.

Montana GOLD is renowned for its accuracy. The low-pressure system provides a smooth, soft-flowing writing line that is perfect for fine details, shading, and technical artwork. It dries quickly, so artists can layer their artwork rapidly, allowing them to create intricate, multi-detail pieces. There is a matte, smooth finish that provides a clean, elegant look that is perfect for any artwork, from studio pieces to mural artwork.

Montana BLACK, on the other hand, is designed with speed and potency in mind. This high-pressure paint system offers fast-paced,  forceful coverage, allowing artists to finish extensive areas of their artwork within a shorter time span. Montana BLACK offers strong, saturated coverage, so it is no wonder that this line of paint is so popular with urban artists working on a grand scale, as well as artists working in difficult environments who require rapid and reliable results.

Whether to use Montana GOLD or Montana BLACK will depend largely on the artwork you do. Think: do you appreciate accuracy, smooth gradients, attention to detail, and paint application control? Montana GOLD is for you. Do you do large murals, fast-paced graffiti, or bold, expressive artwork? Montana BLACK might be more suitable for you. Some artists choose to use both product lines, allocating one for fine details and the other for large backgrounds.

At Suspect Package, we believe that artists deserve the best choice, the best value, and the most superior quality.
