Montana Remover Spray is a pollution-free, pH-neutral etching spray suitable for most types of lacquer. It dissolves and removes lacquers quickly and thoroughly. Application is possible on a wide range of surfaces including walls, clay bricks, stone, concrete, marble, asphalt, glass, metal and wooden surfaces. However, it is not recommended for use on cars. The spray forms a gel-like consistency to prevent it from running off vertical surfaces. Application on non-ferrous metals may cause discolouration.
Surfaces should be dry, free of dust, oils and rust before paint application. Check the firmness and stability of the base colour on painted or lacquered surfaces. Sensitive areas should be covered carefully with protective sheeting. Spray generously and allow the product to act for approximately 10–15 minutes, depending on the quality and age of the paint to be removed. The acting time can be shortened or extended up to 24 hours. Then scrape off with a suitable tool. If necessary, wash off with cellulose nitrate dilutant or water. For very porous surfaces, a wire brush may be required. Before applying new paint, ensure all residues of Montana Remover Spray have been removed.
