Montana UV-Effect Luminescent Varnish is transparent varnish that adds a glow-in-the-dark effect that is only visible under direct UV light. The colourless and semi-gloss finish is invisible in daylight, but when exposed to UV light in the dark, it illuminates with a glowing, blue-purple colour. Ideally suited to indoor use, this luminous spray is an impressive tool, not just for art, but also in practical contexts such as guerrilla marketing, nightclubs and venues. It can even be used to invisibly mark property. It can be applied to a wide range of substrates, including coated and uncoated screens, masonry, wood, glass and more. The more coats you apply the more prevalent the UV light effect becomes.
Due to the UV-Effect’s semi-gloss finish, it might be slightly visible if painted on a matt substrate. The application of a gloss varnish can be used to create an all over gloss finish to discretely hide the UV spray. Once cured (24-48 hours), it is compatible with other colour and effect coatings.
