Montana Aluminium Primer Spray is a pale grey, matt primer that creates a neutral surface on aluminium in preparation for further coating with acrylic, NC (nitro-combination) or synthetic-based lacquers. It has built-in properties that resist against flaking and cracking on aluminium. It promotes the best possible adhesion to your creative and DIY projects for the application of Montana’s Gold, Black, Tech and Effect ranges. With limitations, it can also offer similar protection on copper and zinc.

For best results, pre-sand surfaces with fine sandpaper and ensure that the surface is clean, dry and free of all dust and oils before application. A smooth, even application is effortless thanks to the Montana Flat Jet cap which is standard on the can. We suggest testing the primer for compatibility on a non-visible area of the surface you’re preparing.
